Grassroots Diplomacy Council (GDC), established in 2012, originally affiliated with Taiwan Benevolent Association of America (TBAA), was officially headquartered in Maryland as a nation-wide non-profit organization. GDC means to promote citizen-led activities, to advocate the voices to the society, and to enhance the youth grassroots diplomatic development and interactions in advancing the bilateral relationship between the U.S. and Taiwan.

Our MissionGDC means to make policy recommendations that result in helping the US government, congress, and society enhance the mutual understanding and cultivate consolidated interactions between US and Taiwan.

Our GoalGDC aims to enhance interactions with the think tanks, institutions, organizations, and the stakeholders in Washington DC area through co-hosting topical forums to channel and broadcast the US’s diplomatic interests in Taiwan. GDC shall organize periodic seminars and dialogues, conduct research projects, train young diplomatic professional, and make policy recommendation regarding Taiwan-US relationship.
